"When we decided to build a home in Gloucester, having a home theater was a must as well as audio/video/surveillance systems. So it was important to hire a company that could do it all. We decided to go with Atomic HiFi and work with Steve and his crew, since he seemed so knowledgeable and was willing to work within our budget.
He also deals in theater furniture sales and design - his associate, designed and constructed various theater accoutrements such as theater doors, acoustic paneling, drapery, specialty fiber optic lighting effects, etc. Everyone was professional and easy to deal with. Our entire house was wired with an audio system, computer/tv hook-ups and surveillance, as well as my dream theater, complete with staging, seating and a domed fiber optic ceiling that had twinkling "stars" for that night sky effect. "I’ve been working with Steve Flynn for almost 20 years now. There have been a few different projectors in a few different spaces. He has supervised the installation of systems, devised multiple modifications to improve image quality, and kept the projectors calibrated and in good working order for years. I highly recommended working with him. He knows his stuff -- both in terms of his technical expertise as an engineer, and in terms of the rapid changes in the industry.
Steve keeps up on all the new A/V gear and the latest technologies coming onto the market. But more important that that, he knows his clients. He knows where my needs and tastes might not necessarily conform to what the current state of the art happens to be. He looks for the best possible solutions to match the preferences of his individual clients. Each room designed or outfitted by Atomic HiFi will not look the same. There’s no cookie-cutter approach. Steve takes the time to get to know exactly what his clients are looking for and then works hard to help them achieve it. He is also an affable, approachable, down-to-earth guy who doesn’t overwhelm you with hyper-technical jargon or state his opinions as if they were facts (which, in my experience, are things most people with the kind of engineering skill Steve possesses have a difficult time with).
